NGC MS69 2003 Silver Eagle
This 2003 Silver Eagle has been graded by NGC. NGC, or the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, is one of the world’s leading third-party coin grading firms. Using their 70 point grading scale, this Silver Eagle received the grade of MS69. This grade is very high, but still affordable.
Silver Eagle Design
The front of this NGC MS69 2003 Silver Eagle shows a design that was originally used for the Walking Liberty half dollar. This design was created by Adolph A. Weinman and during its time in circulation the public loved it. The inscriptions on the front read “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2003.”
The back of the Silver Eagle was designed by John Mercanti. This design shows a heraldic bald eagle with its wings spread wide while it holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. This side of the coin reads “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
