2003 Silver Eagle
The American Silver Eagle has been a favorite among not only collectors, but also bullion buyers since it was introduced in 1986. For one thing, the weight and purity of this coin are backed by the United States government. Another reason for their popularity is their visual appeal, the Silver Eagle is one of the most beautiful modern coins on the market.

Silver Eagle Design
The front of this NGC MS69 2003 Silver Eagle shows a design that was originally used for the Walking Liberty half dollar. This design was created by Adolph A. Weinman and during its time in circulation the public loved it. The inscriptions on the front read “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2003.”
The back of the Silver Eagle was designed by John Mercanti. This design shows a heraldic bald eagle with its wings spread wide while it holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. This side of the coin reads “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
